We regret to inform interested participants of the Burn It Up Run & Walk that this year's race has been cancelled and no future date has been set. Thank you for your understanding and continued support of the Banks Fire Association.
The run begins at Banks Junior High School with a short run through the town of Banks and then winds through the lush country-side of Banks. The run will take a loop tour of the quiet rural neighborhoods on mostly paved roads. The 10k does have some challenging rolling hills, and a steep decline. Both routes take you back to the Junior High.
Burn It Up Banks 5k/10 Run and Walk is being hosted along side the Banks Days BBQ. After your run you may want to head across the street the Banks Speedway for all you can eat breakfast and check out the car show both from 8-11 AM**.
Burn It Up Banks Run and Walk is a fundraiser for the Banks Fire Fighters Association who promote community service and giving. Past fundraisers have included Christmas food boxes, emergency food and clothing supplies for victims of house fires, support for cancer research, local children’s hospitals, and emergency equipment such as AED’s and extrication tools.

The Banks Firefighters Association is made up of volunteer firefighters that serve the communities of the Northwest corner of Washington County, Oregon. Our fundraisers, including this run, contribute directly back to the community in the form of scholarships, equipment purchases, and families in need. During the winter holidays we sponsor families in need by providing food, gifts, and other necessities like firewood.
